My name is Becky, and I am the owner of ISILME.

ISILME is our Kennel Club registered kennel name. It comes from the Elvish language, meaning Moonlight, and was chosen in memory of my very first dog, a black Labrador called Moonlight River Romer, affectionately known as Moss. He inspired a lifelong love of dogs that continues to shape everything we do today.

I am incredibly fortunate to share this passion with my wonderful daughter, who is just as animal-mad as I am. Our home has always revolved around animals and, alongside our German Spitz, we are also home to horses, sheep, cats, chickens and a rabbit. Caring for animals isn't just a hobby—it's our way of life.

Dogs have been my passion for over 40 years. During that time I have dedicated my life to learning, exhibiting, judging, breeding and promoting responsible dog ownership. Every opportunity has strengthened my belief that breeding should always place health, temperament and welfare above all else.

Today I am proud to serve the breed in several roles, including:

• Kennel Club Challenge Certificate (CC) Judge for German Spitz Klein and German Spitz Mittel.

• Kennel Club Agility Judge.

• Kennel Club Health Coordinator for German Spitz (Klein and Mittel).

• Breed Council Representative for both German Spitz varieties.

• Committee Member of The German Spitz Club of Great Britain.

• Member of the International Sheep Dog Society (ISDS).

These positions allow me to work alongside fellow breeders, exhibitors, owners, researchers and veterinary professionals to help safeguard the future of the breeds I love through education, health initiatives and responsible breeding.

At ISILME, every litter is carefully planned. Health, temperament, breed type and lifelong welfare are at the centre of every breeding decision we make. Our aim is to produce physically healthy, mentally resilient puppies that grow into confident, much-loved family companions.

Every puppy is raised in our home as part of the family using the internationally recognised Puppy Culture programme. This structured approach focuses on early neurological development, confidence building, socialisation, problem solving and resilience, giving each puppy the very best foundations for life.

For us, breeding doesn't end when a puppy leaves for its new home.

When you welcome an ISILME puppy into your family, you also become part of ours. We believe every owner deserves ongoing support throughout their dog's lifetime, whether that's advice during the first few weeks, guidance years later, or simply someone to celebrate the milestones with.

Our puppy owners stay connected through our Facebook community, where families share photographs, stories and achievements, and whenever possible we organise litter reunions. Watching our puppies grow into treasured family members is one of the greatest rewards of breeding.

Every puppy we breed will always have a place with us. Should circumstances ever change, we will always do everything we can to help. Our commitment to every puppy lasts for its entire lifetime.
